Kabultec is holding its 2016 Annual Afghan Women’s Benefit Dinner at the Elmer Timberman Masonic Lodge in Annandale, VA! It features a ten-course authentic Afghan dinner, a talk by Max Gross about how he re-visited Afghanistan after a 41 year absence, and an address by Nasrine Gross about Kabultec’s 2016 activities and plans for 2017.  The event will include the launch of the new website (http://kabultec.org) as well as our new College for Orphans Program.

As usual, the dinner includes a silent auction of crafts by Afghan women and artisana from around the country, featuring textiles, embroidery, pottery, blown glass, carved stone, clothing, jewelry, carpets, and other handicrafts.  Proceeds will go to support Kabultec’s couples literacy classes, underprivileged Afghan women, and our new College for Orphans Program.
