Kabultec is involved in academic studies of the situation of Afghan women. This is a very open field as not much has been researched and produced in-country.

Kabultec’s founder Nasrine Gross has written two books on the subject, Qassarikh-e Malalay and Women in the Koran. Research was carried out in the US and in Afghanistan with support from Kabultec’s sister organization in Kabul, The Roqia Center.

We have published and/or given lectures on several women’s studies topics, and we currently have several research projects in this area.
