Kabultec is a US-based non-profit organization working for women’s rights in Afghanistan. Our specific areas of work include:
- Lobbying the Afghan legislative branch for equal inclusion of women and women’s rights into the process, including the Afghan Constitution and local laws.
- Literacy programs for underprivileged women and families in Afghanistan.
- Material educational support for schools, orphanages, and libraries in Afghanistan.
- Organization and support of women’s conferences in Afghanistan, and conferences abroad that focus on Afghan women.
The majority of this work is carried out in Afghanistan by our sister organization, the Roquia Center for Rights, Studies, and Education. The Roqia Center is a non-profit civil society organization established in Kabul, Afghanistan for the purpose of coordinating and carrying out Kabultec activities.
